The Robert winery is situated in Saint Claude de Diray, a lovely village along the Loire, half way between the castles of Blois and Chambord (8km). This winery is a family company of 10 hectares, managed by Jacques Robert and his wife Chantal as Independant Winegrower for 2 generations using the Cheverny and Cour Cheverny Appellations. We make Cheverny white, red and rosé and also some traditional method wine. Do not hesitate to come and discover the Cour Cheverny Appellation which is really well known in the region because the grape used in this wine is the Romorantin, a local grape which can't be found in any other appellation.

Coming from a parcel where the soil is slightly "fatter", this blend of pinot noir (80%) and gamay (20%) is vinified in a wooden vat with moderate cap punching and this turns into a particularly expressive red wine. The aromas of ripe fruits (notes of fruit puree and sometimes a touch of orange) are combined with discreet nuances of flowers and spices...

We make Cheverny white, red and rosé but also CourCheverny white with the local grape Romorantin. During the year, we pay a very careful attention to the vineyard and also to the process of making wine to keep the authenticity.
